Armloads of Blessings

We all go through our trials so i'm not gonna act as if my issues are more serious than others. Readers who follow my Tigeress blog will never see that i'm going through something bigger than me. You know when you go thru trials that it's only God that can intervene? Yeh them kinda trials. And Roc, no i'm not talking about not being married- thank u very much!!!! :):)

I had mentioned in one of my blogs that on Dec31st/ Jan 1st at the stroke of midnight when everybody was jumping and happy about seeing 2009- i was in the verge of having a panic attack. Anxiety fell upon me despite the fact that i was whole heartedly grateful to God for seeing me thru 2008. I was alive. But what i knew laid ahead of me made me anxious. Not only that, i was hit hard when things i was not expecting happened. Stress led to literally half of my hair on my head falling out. Thank God for lace fronts. Shona pls give me an AMEN!! lol!! I felt heart broken. God had broken my heart and continued to trample on it. I felt crushed. With tears i'd ask God- how much longer? Why me? For I am drained. And like a crazy person in my studio i'd tell him i can't carry on any longer. But a still voice will tell me- there is no way out. There is no alternative. You can't fix this on your own. You have no choice than to totally trust and surrender to God. And then i'd look back and be reminded of all the tight spots God has taken me out of. God has always made a way out for me. And will continue to do so. He is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do it? (Number 23:19) for He will never leave me nor forsake me (Hebrews 13:5).

After thinking it couldn't get any worse, on Tuesday it did. But i didn't cry. Tho furious as hell, I had peace. In fact i slept very well. Cause at this point in my life- mo ti gba fun Olorun (someone pls translate for Shona and non Yoruba speaking people. Cheers). My God who brought me to this country and started the good works is faithful and just to bring it to completion.

My friend sent this to me this morning- only if she knew how it ministered to me. As i read it gon sef, tears swell up in my eyes. And as you all read it, those of you going thru trials where you're asking God how much longer, for those of you that are at the verge of giving up- HOLD ON!!! I hope this will minister to you too.

Today's Word with Joel & Victoria

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God [gave us the victory]…Now, God, do it again… so those with heavy hearts will come out laughing, with armloads of blessing"(Psalm 126, Message)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
When you have a heavy heart, when life deals you a difficult blow, God wants to turn things around in your favor. Not only does He want to bring you out, but He wants to bring you out with a smile and better off than you were before. He wants to give you the victory and fill you with armloads of blessings!

You might be thinking, “That sounds too good to be true. You don’t know my situation.” But understand, God wants to overwhelm you with His goodness. He wants you to feel like you are living in a dream. The scripture says that He delights in the prosperity of His people. In other words, it gives Him great joy to bless you. You can be certain that when you stand in faith, even when it’s difficult, God will reward you. He’ll fill you with His peace. He’ll give you supernatural strength. He’ll give you the grace you need to face those challenges. You can be sure that He’ll always lead you into victory and fill you with armloads of blessings!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father in heaven, thank You for Your promise of victory and blessing. I choose to keep my heart and mind focused on You. Have Your way in me and lead me into the life of blessing You have in store for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
